Hall County Master Gardeners in conjunction with Hall County Extension are proud to announce the 4^th Annual Fall Garden Expo. The event will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center near Gainesville.

 

Known as “the greatest one-day plant sale in Georgia”, the Garden Expo features 35 plant and garden-product related vendors, providing trees, shrubs, and perennials for Fall planting. There will also be a garden information booth manned by knowledgeable Master Gardeners to answer your gardening questions. The Master Gardeners also provide a purchase holding and load-out service for the visitors to the Expo so customers may continue shopping for additional items while their purchases are secured until they are ready to depart.

 

The City of Gainesville will be on site offering free mulch for your garden. Tons of mulch are given away at every Expo, and customers have learned to arrive in their pick-up trucks for this special service.

 

Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center is located off I-985 at Exit 20. Turn east (right) onto Queen City Parkway then right onto Calvary Church Road at the Kangaroo Convenience Store. Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center is three miles down the road on the left at 1855 Calvary Church Road. A food vendor is on-site.
