DROUGHT ALERT

The Extension office is getting a lot of calls on gray water collecting and  Hall County water ban issues. Here are several websites that offer helpful advice on caring for your garden during the drought.

*Note: Water from an alternative source -pumping from a personal creek or well - also face difficulty during drought and are unlikely to recharge. Also, drawing from these bodies does impact streams, rivers, and lakes that are fed by these sources.   If an individual has an alternate source, a sign MUST be posted in a clear visibility, so there are no questions.(Gainesville Water Department)
