The class of 2008 has taken on a landscaping project at the
Wahoo Cemetery, which is being restored by a number of
Gainesville groups. Thanks to Lisa Clement for spearheading
this project. Go, Class of 2008!

JMG Volunteers Needed

Additional volunteers for the Junior Master Gardener
Program are still needed to meet the growing demand for
this great program at our Hall County and Gainesville
elementary schools. An orientation/training class will be
held for current and new volunteers on Wednesday, July
23rd.
Please contact Kathy Lovett if able to assist with this
great program.

Adopt-a-Stream:

Anyone interested in participating in training for the
"visual" portion of the Adopt-a-Stream program please
contact Mindy Wade at 770-967-0983. Mindy will be working
with Brian Wiley to arrange this training so that we can be
more involved in monitoring the health of our streams,
creeks and waterways. If you have questions, please
contact Mindy.
