Privet Pull 2
Fridays -March 19 and 26th - 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Saturdays - March 20, and March 27th from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Take an hours for lunch.
Then back at 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
Meet at the Nature Trail at the entrance of Gainesville College. Be sure if you haven't worked before at the First Privet Pull to bring a copy of your liability insurance for the College. Also, water will be provided. Be sure to wear long sleeves and long pants as there is Poision Ivey in the area so you need to protect yourself from this.
We will be pulling up the Privet if it is small enough but the large Privet will be cut with loppers (bring them and your gloves also). We will spray Round Up on the cut areas to make sure it does not sprout again. Some of the larger privet needs to be cut with a chain saw so all you men who love to riiiiiiiivvvvvvvvvvvvvvv up on trees, feel free to cut privet to your heart's content.
