Optional Friday Activity
Visit to the Elachee Nature Center in Hall County
Bus departs from the First Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m. Friday, and returns at 5:00 p.m. No charge for participants, but reservations needed (See Conference registration form).
Learn about the mission and activities of the Elachee Nature Center, a 1200 acre nature preserve and educational center in Hall County.
Optional Saturday Activity
A walking tour of the Gardens on Green adjacent to the Hall County Board of Education Administrative Building, next to the First Baptist Church, is scheduled during the lunch break of the Conference. Tour will depart from the conference lobby at 12:15 p.m. and return by 12:50 p.m.
Gardens on Green is a project of the Hall County Master Gardeners and the Hall County School System. The Gardens are being developed to provide gardening education, especially hands-on opportunities for the children of Hall County.
